The respect of the USA in the world has perceptibly made amends according to an international survey since the assumption of office of US-president Barack Obama. Not only the majority of the Germans has a positive picture of America, even the Muslim countries are tuned more friendly. Only one country falls from the frame.
Above all in Western Europe the image of the USA has changed within one year all of a sudden to the positive, one says in on Thursday in Washington presented study of the Pew institute. Also in the Muslim world the USA were valued a little more positively, although here still the scepticism predominates. Now possibly in Germany 64 percent of the interviewees bragged, they would have a positive picture of the USA. By the survey in the year before there were only 31 percent. 93 percent of the questioned Germans credited Obama to make the right decisions in the foreign affairs. With his predecessor George W. Bush this value lay only at 14 percent
In Muslim Egypt the positive assessments rose within period of one year only from 22 to 27 percent and in Jordan of from 19 to 25 percent. An exception among the Muslim countries takes Indonesia where Obama spent a part of his childhood. There 63 percent valued the USA positively, in 2008 there were only 37 percent
